Hi guys Hope you don't mind me jumping on the band wagon here but i've been hovering round the horse section for a few days now as i want to start having a tentative go at it. The last few weeks i have been trying to monitor "attheraces" tips each day to see if its worth while backing but its very time consuming so I thought, if you don't mind, that I'd use someones elses system and this one interests me a lot, being a relative novice. I'd love to be able to devote the kind of time you lot are obviously doing but until I can i'm just going to have to try and hang on to your coat tails!

Morls - I apologise if i'm taking this the wrong way but is this freeroll not for ALL PL'rs to have a go at. Attendance in recent league games shouldn't matter?yeah i know, and like phil says, we benefit from race days etc, ive got no quarms with that at all was just ironic were not allowing people to play cos they are new....well ive never seen half of these lot play in any games before the freeroll come along -

Re: Newcastle poker night 20th May Just a thought for anyone still struggling to find rooms. The holiday inn express not far from where I live in Washington might be available. It's right on the A1 and I reckon it would be £15 max in a taxi to get you from there to the casino. Don't think I can make this which is a shame since its practically on my doorstep but hope you all have a fantastic night!:ok

Hi all, first time visitor to the horse racing section. I'm off to Newcastle races this weekend with a few mates and was wondering if any of you have any top tips I should look out for. Just so you know - my horse racing experiance is limited to the national and the odd drunken expedition with mates (as this saturday will probably turn out to be! :beer )
