Re: Good Luck for the National Lads.
Seriously!! I wouldnt take the day off even if they let me, one of the best days of the year. Although I know they'll be a few things Ill never want to hear again by the end of the day such as: Do I have to pay tax on that? (which when explained there is no tax anymore gets the response, haha shows that I dont bet often doesnt it) Is it likely to go in or out?? (When asked whether they want to take the price, like I friggin know) Or even better, Whats that mean?? (When asked if they want to take the price)Good luck every hope you have a good day cus I wont. I work in the indrusty and really dread national day. Non stop mayhem all day from people who havnt got a clue what they are talking about:wall but hey it pays my wages, I shouldn't really complain. -
Re: Golf question - how far down do bookies pay out on a place in tournaments It all depends on the stage of the tourney. Example: Ladbrokes were paying 1st 5 1/4 odds on the Masters until it started. It then changed to 1st 4 1/4 odds. It then changes depending on how the tourney progresses.

Re: MLB Dogs Id suggest season ERA would probably be best but at what point you make the switch Im unsure. Weekly ERA would be too limited as most pitchers will only pitch one or two games a week. MLB.com do Whos Hot and Whos Not on their stats page using 7 days for batters and 30 days for pitchers. This might come in handy.

Re: MLB Follow The Leader Thanks. Just wondering if you were using current form or anything. Yankees are usually good for a streak at home.

Re: Are any of you pro gamblers? You can use Betfair by phone. Minimum stake is £50 though I believe.

Re: MLB Follow The Leader Any reason for it being those teams?
-
Re: Are any of you pro gamblers? Much easier as second income. I took a year out from work to make money betting and whilst managed to get by the pressures are completly different. The whole game changes when you know everything depends on geting it right.

Re: My Rules I always try to follow the rule of dont expect a horse to do something its never done before.i.e. in over distance, certain going etc. If its not done it before, why should it do it now. Obviously that applies more to horses that have experienced the conditions before.

Re: Formula 1 - Malaysian GP - 8/4 Checked most other bookies and they're the same too. Will Kimi still be pushing as hard though if he knows he wont be on pole whereever he finishes? Like commented too, Massa has a good chance of taking pole ith or without Kimi. Good spot though Crouch Potato. Best to know exactly what you're backing.

Re: 2007 world snooker championship. Wouldnt mind a few pinions from those more knowledgable. Theres a few bets that caught my eye. 6 or more century breaks between O'Sullivan and Ding @ 14/1 Both capable of putting together a few centuries. Also, you can back the black ball as the first colour to be potted in most games @ 11/8. Wonder if anyone could help on stats for this?
