Actually the bet would pay 51.5151p so it should be rounded up to 52p, hence getting one over on the bookie by getting paid out at 1/25!Your also risking 17p to win nothing, Bet the bookies love you!! -

Usually Id agree and say If you dont like it, dont watch it. Problem is BB takes over everything and its hard to avoid and replaces lots of other programmes as it takes up so much airtime, especially with BB Little Brother, BB Big Mouth , BB Hairy Arse and any other spinoffs from it.Some people need to take their calming tablets, It amazes me that people should have such strong opinions on programmes that they dont watch. -
Re: French Open 25th May - 8th June No, she was making it the whole way through. I know most grunt or scream but Im damned if I know what that noise was. Im sure it reminded me of a sound effect on a computer game but cant think of which one. Come to think of it, I think it may be the noise Vega used to make on SF2 when he jumped off the fence at you.

Re: Players to watch... Also might be worth listing players moving/rumored to be moving to England. I know I'll be watching the Switzerland games to get a look at Philipp Degen who will be joining Liverpool after the tournament.

Ive been looking at this myself since you started the thread as a lot that don't win place and I have a tendancy for backing place favs. I done the 1st 4 on Saturday in a acca, win only as you cant do e/w on unnamed favs (as Im sure you know). 3 winners and a second!! Would have been a 40/1 or so acca!

Re: Ante Post Winner Portugal have to be strong contenders with Ronaldo in the form he is. I know it's about more than one player but Portugal have a good side anyway and as long as Ronaldo doesn't suffer burnout he could be the important difference maker. Not the most scientific approach but here's another stat to support it. Portugals Euros record: 1996 - Q-Finals 2000 - S-Finals 2004 - Runners-Up 2008 - ???;)

Re: Profit , Profit , Profit ! Good luck with this. One thing that gets in people's way is looking for a certain amount of profit each day. This can lead to chasing or placing bets they aren't quite so sure about just to reach their target. This hunt seems to have the right attitude. 10p profit or £100, its all still more than you started off with. I often have this issue when people say it's not worth backing something at so and so odds as you hardly get anything back. Well as long as its still a good value bet then who cares. A winners a winner and it still boosts your bank, however little it may be.

Re: Is there too much racing?? Personally I dont mind the hours. Im contracted to 37 hours a week which means I can do 3 full days and an evening. That leaves me the best part of 4 days off a week. Personally I'd rather do that than 9-5, 5 days a week.

Surely the definition of pro is the paid part. You could spend all day studying for selections but not charge. You could also stick a pin in the paper, charge someone money and call yourself a pro tipster.What is a pro? Someone who spends all day working on each race to produce a selection? -
Re: definition of a pro tipster? Or on a slightly more serious note. Someone who gives their tips as part of a paid/subscribed service. Success/failure rate has nothing to do with it.
