Last month's champ McG has made a bid for repeating the feat with a win in leg 2.   He takes over at the top of the table, with last week's winner Elliott in 2nd spot.
Tonight's leg 3 is PLO which could turn the table on its head again.  Game is open for registration and starts at 8.10pm, plus 20mins late reg as usual

We have leg 2 tonight, same format as last week with a NLHE 3000 chip tourney.  Game set up and open for registration now, starts at 8.10pm with 20 minutes added late registration period.  No problem if you missed last week as it's 3 weeks scores to count over the month so please jump in if you're available.

The Punters Lounge £150 added Poker League continues on this week for July, running for 4 weeks on Wednesday nights.
The £150 added by PL is shared between the top 3 in the league at the end of the month. Games start at 8.10pm, with a 20min late registration period on top of this.  All games are played in the PokerStars Home Games PL Poker Club. 
The format is a NLHE 3000 chip tourney in Legs 1 & 2 and a 5000 chip NLHE for final leg.   Leg 3 is our PLO Leg with 5000 chips.

Buy in is $5.50 per leg.
Your top 3 scores of the 4 legs will count towards your league total. We will be using the usual PL poker league format, which will be updated in this thread. (The PokerStars own league scores will not be used.) Formula is -Log(position/Entrants)x100
To help boost numbers overall and in particular in the final leg we are continuing the system of doubling the number of entries used in the calculation in leg 4 (**so if 10 entries the formula will use 20 entrants). This will increase the number of points available in the final leg to make it more competitive.
All members are welcome, however you must post in this thread if asked to let us know your forum username, otherwise your placings and scores cannot be included in the league.  New players are always welcome to join in, so please spread the word and invite your friends to the forum so we can keep the weekly numbers up.

The £150 added will be split between the top 3 players of the league end, with £75 to the league champion, £45 to 2nd and £30 to 3rd.  This will be payable via PayPal at the end of the league.  Big thank you to Punters Lounge for the added funds.  The league winner will also get Punters Lounge merchandise.

We have gone with a Winner Takes All ($3+30c NLHE 3000 chips) but I've set it up also as a Knockout (Bounty) so half the buy ins go to the bounty fund and the other half will go to the tournament winner.  It will probably not make the first break

League Table

 

What a fight between the 2 June super powers, with 2 wins a piece for McG and muttley.  In the end a next best 4th beat a 6th/7th and it's @McG who is crowned our June champion.  The final leg multiplier didn't actually change this result although it would have been even closer between them without it.  The 3rd podium spot is taken by Rivrd who appropriately had 3 third place finishes this month.  Well done to all 3 of you, I'm sure I have your Paypal details already so I'll send those off for payment.
We have a spare week this week so if @McG would like to choose a game for us to play I'll set that up.  There are all the variants, or bounty games.  There's also now an option to do a game with web cam enabled if you fancy a go!

Well done to Elliott taking the win following runner up spot last week and so has a good lead up at the top of the table.   Runner up Ian currently dead heating with Leo for 2nd and 3rd in the league with others not far behind.

Apologies for the delay in updating, I've been busy with my year end financials.  ?
Well done to Rivrd on the win and with it he takes the league title.  Ignoring week 1 performance a worthy winner  
McG and Nosey-P repel all other attempts to get in the money and hold on to the podium positions
Well done all, I'll sort out the winnings tonight and put up the new thread for Feb. 

Oooh it really is close at the top this month. 
McG gets the win in the PLO leg and takes the top spot in the league table. Wayne slips back to 2nd and Ian bags a 3rd place finish for the 3rd time this month and is in, erm, 3rd place in the league.  But less than 10 points splits the top 3, with the chasing pack not that far behind.
Everything will be decided in the final leg on Weds, we have a 5000 chip NLHE game.
