  1. Hey @Fader sorry to bother you again but what about Champions League or Europa League matches? Do the ratings then take into account only international matches or again just the domestic league ones?
  2. I have @2.863 now... I wonder if we miss some piece of information otherwise I can't explain the high odds
  3. Yeah maybe you're right about that after all but I'd like to make a case for two more matches tomorrow in the Championship that feature strong ELO ratings for the home and away teams respectively: Oxford vs Luton --> Oxford is the outsider although they're much better ranked, their home record is very decent (7-4-3) while Luton has won only 4 points away from home. Right now home win is @3 at the exchanges so it does seem too good to be true Middlesbrough v West Brom --> Both strong teams, 41 points each. Middlesbrough tough to beat at home (6-5-3), West Brom tough to beat away from home (4-7-3). Difference from previous match is that here West Brom is a heavy underdog. Draw-no-bet maybe the best option here but it does seem something to look into
  4. I get your points totally but though I'm not an expert in English football by any stretch of the imagination, that's not how I would interpret the situation. As I said Bolton have got just 4 points more than Charlton but they also have 1 match more. Home advantage is cool and all but they have won at home fewer times (6) than they have drawn or lost (7). As to strength of opposition Charlton have played better ranked teams in the last 4 than Bolton. Anyway I will probably skip it, but just wanted to see what other people think about it so thanks for sharing your views!
  5. 2.71 right now at pinnacle! Unreal, got myself some of that action :-)
  6. So basically what it says in the title of the post. There were some good results this weekend like the wins of Crystal Palace, Accrington and Brighton which were all supported by strong ELO ratings but even more were the losses like Reading, Leyton Orient, Huddersfield, Holstein Kiel and Parma. I'd like to start this thread and post some thoughts for future games based solely on ratings and standings and hopefully get a discussion going on. Maybe some people have more info about injuries, motivation or any other factor that can lead to separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak :-) Starting tomorrow I see nothing interesting but on Tuesday we have the League One match between Bolton and Charlton. Ratings indicate Charlton as favourites but odds say otherwise. Of course that doesn't mean anything by itself but for me it's an indication for further analysis. At a first glance I don't see much to separate these two in terms of standings (Bolton 4 points more but also with one match more than their rivals). Charlton's form is a bit better in the last five (3-1-1 vs 2-1-2 for Bolton). Bolton home record this season is 6-3-4 (21-19 goals) while Charlton away record is 4-2-6 (15-15 goals). Any more insight for this? Straight away win is 3.258 right now at the exchanges and the safer Draw-no-Bet is 2.402 which does seem tempting Also a question for @Fader: Do the ratings take into account ALL matches played by a team? Or just league matches?
  7. Rather like Kasatkina myself
  8. I like Palace to beat West Ham... not convinced at all with their last match with a new manager as the scoreline (they beat Fulham 3-2) was totally misleading. They only had the 3 shots in the entire match while Fulham had a lot of chances and was generally the better team
  9. @neilovan Haddad-Maia maybe a system pick against Kudermetova? What do your stats say?
  10. How about the Burnley - Sunderland match tomorrow night? Big derby for the Championship but I think Sunderland are a bit underestimated by the bookies, anyone else agree?
  11. Sorry maybe it's obvious but what are your picks here?
  12. How is the goalscorer system treating you moneywise? Any stats? You seem to be in a roll :-)
  13. Super! Will be waiting for next season then, thanks!
  14. Dutch - Belgian - Turkish - Greek would be nice But again I don't know how time-consuming this is, if it's too much then don't bother
  15. Sociedad - Villareal match seems to have very high odds for an away win. Elo ratings alerted me to this but even after looking at standings, form, injuries etc can't figure out the catch. Any experts on Spanish football that could help? Otherwise this seems to me a value bet
  16. Hi to all, new member here. Would it be a major hussle if these were expanded to follow more leagues? I think they are a very nice tool for spotting potential matches to bet on which can then be further analyzed.
