  1. Re: Rugby League: Tri Nations Sorry i couldn't post my picks...(stupid work!) but i backed the kiwis for the half time/full time double....i thought they will either thrash GB or get thrashed , but being do or die for the kiwis , i thought theres a good chance they would come through , so i went for it and the boyes came through, leading both halves!!:ok ....so i picked up $2.20 on betfair for a nice profit.

  2. Re: Rugby League: Tri Nations I think this is a do or die test for NZ, we must win and win by 15 points or more from what i have heard to make the final , can anyone confirm that ??....that being the case NZ will be throwing everything into this. Another 24 - 0 thrashing of GB just like we did aussie in the final ??...so hard to pick with NZ, to much inconsistant play from them.

  3. Re: All Blacks European Tour

I really can’t comment on this game. The French are c**ts. Normal laws don’t apply to them…..they could turn up on Saturday and beat the Kiwis by 15 points and again they could turn up – totally capitulate' date= eat some cheese, surrender and concede 50 points depending on if they “felt like it” or not.

    My Tip:

Don’t bet on a game involving the French, ever.

I have to agree with you DAC, they are total c**ts ! and very unpredicatable...but does anyone know when they last lost a test at Lyon ??....if ever ??...just curious if theres some sort of record that they would want to protect of having never lost there maybe ?
  4. Re: Wallabies European Tour

29-29 all tough one......I was tempted to take wales with 3.5 pts in @$1.90 but by the time I placed the bet Wales had dropped in Odds & points in option was taken off:wall :wall Centerbet:wall a draw seems like a fair result for both teams:unsure
I had taken the aussies to win the match , as even a rusty aussie team is still good in my mind, good enough to beat wales....but what happens, the draw! :wall ...%$#& aussies screw me again!!!....i had just lost a bunch after aussie beat West Indies in the ICC Trophy and then they screw me again by not beating wales !!! :@:@
  5. Re: Magners Celtic League Betting Thread 2006/7

Quite chuffed about these two, Glasgow was tight but Conn always score a couple at the end - Just goes to show the importance of having as many different accounts as you can. VC Bet were the only ones to go -4. Anyway, hope this isn't showing off but: Dragons v Scarlets – Lose Ospreys v Blues – Win Conn v Scarlets – Win Ospreys v Borders – Win Leinster v Blues – Lose Blues v Glasgow – Win Connacht v Leinster - Win Edinburgh v Glasgow - Lose Glasgow v Border - Win Connacht v Ulster - Win Borders v Leinster - Lose Ulster v Blues - Win Ospreys v Glasgow - Win Ulster v Borders - Win Glasgow v Conn - Win
With a win list like that full of your picks DAC, you deserve some time in the lime light buddy !!, well done and i to jumped aboard some of these picks, so thankyou mate!!.... :notworthy ....awesome stuff and heres hoping you continue on this run :ok ...please continue to post. :clap:clap
  6. Re: All Blacks European Tour

Possible All Blacks starting 15 to face France: Leon MacDonald, Rico Gear, Conrad Smith, Luke McAlister, Sitiveni Sivivatu, Daniel Carter, Piri Weepu, Rodney So'oialo, Richie McCaw (captain), Jerry Collins, Ali Williams, Jason Eaton, Carl Hayman, Anton Oliver, Neemia Tialata.
Totally agree with your comments there Ice i reckon things are going well for us and if we continue on this path we will win the next RWC, as for my thoughts on the next upcoming game, as i look at that "possible" team lineup for the first test and i can't help seeing a french win by a small margin straight away , they are going to be very hard to beat at Lyon and that team looks a little weak, the fulll back Leon is my main concern ,great player , but to go from limited game time into a test against the french, big step up, Oliver still can't throw to save his life and don't get me started on that tosser Rodney S!! , man i could have killed him after that game he cost us against SA....idiot!!...anyways.....could be to much for this team ....more thoughts later when the lineup is confirmed.....i'm interested in others thoughts more....Ice and DAC ???
  7. Re: All Blacks European Tour

Bet365 Changed their price on NZ to 4/5. Having now seen the Kiwi team - what kind of statement is Henry trying to make with it?
Looks like he knows this game is in the bag i think, he trying to save his best players and plays for the French who are going to be the team to beat on this tour. He's got great backup on the bench just incase things go pear shaped against England, (can't see that happening though) but thats just my thoughts!;)
  8. Re: Cricket: ICC Champions Trophy

Cheers guys. Nice to have a successful day in what's looking like an unsuccessful tournament unless the Kiwi's do the biz for me.
I'm with you on that one Kev, i stand to lose abit if the kiwis lose....so :hope crossed they can put one over the aussies. and if they will i will make a very nice profit....go the kiwis!
  9. Re: Cricket: ICC Champions Trophy Cheers Ash :ok, the general advice i'm getting seems to be , sit and wait for now. I can afford to take the $350 hit should i lose, but if i could cover, that would be nice. I am hoping that india win and knock aussie out, then i can hopefully cover off on india at a slighty higher price....still not 100% deceided though ...

  10. Re: Cricket: ICC Champions Trophy Please Help! need abit of advice from you guys if you will. As i am a cabbage Heres my problem. I have been betting on who will win the comp outright and have all the teams covered to a nice profit bar India and Aussie. (whom i have placed nothing on as of yet). Now one of these teams will be eliminated in the next match between them as the West Indies are through to the semis coutesy of their win last night over India. I am a newb and can't figure out the best way to come out on top and cover either Aussie or India for the outright win. I can afford to take a hit on my profits from the other team bets , but not enough to cover both for the outright win. Looks a bit like this on betfair Aussie - $350 (paying $3.35 for the win) India - $350 (paying $7 for the win) All the rest + between $200 and $600 I apprecaite your thoughts guys! as i don't know what to do...:unsure

  11. Re: All Blacks European Tour

:rollin You keep telling yourself that mate! On any given day, away from NZ - Wales, ireland, France and the Saffas can beat you.
Have to agree with FoolsGold here DAC, wales, never, saffers only in the high veld do they have a chance, england...forget about it.....the frogs...always a danger there and again with FG , they are our main rivals for the WC this year...they could be the ones to deneny us once again....but we are gunning for revenge from when they kicked us out at the semi's!...
  12. Re: Rugby AIr NZ cup

:clap appaluse to all those who contributed to the thread:clap It has been a great season/cup to both dicuss, bet on & watch. It has also been very profitable for me personally, I have enjoyed every week apart from one or two which were losses overall. But hey shit happens & you can't get every bet up or otherwise it would just be boring. KM,CK, NZT & others look forward too discussing rugby & betting with you all in future threads. :ok
Cheers Ice :ok, i'll see you in the Hen. Cup thread for more good times!....well hopefully good times :hope
