  1. Re: NRL Round 2: March 23-26

On second look Mike' date=' that bet is for the minor premiership only, not the Premiership itself, in which case I heavily favour the Storm.[/quote'] I guess there is a blind devotion in my bet also hoping that the warriors can go all the way and win the minor prem and then onto the grand final. :hope Go the Kiwis! (even though theres heaps of aussies in our team, i don't mind:ok...lol..)
  2. Re: NRL Round 2: March 23-26 Hey Lads, sportingodds are paying the warriors at $10 , but the good thing is they have 1/4 odds for a 1,2 or 3 placing, i think this has value and i have taken the warriors to win the prem. or place 1,2 or 3 for 5 units. They also have Brisbane at $13 plus 1/4 odds for a place. Does this sound like a good deal for last years winner ??...i tend to think so. Your thoughts guys ??

  3. Re: Rugby League: NRL Round 1 (Mar 16-Mar 19) + Season Discussion

a fantastic effort by all, well done to everyone,I tend to keep away from margins as I think anything at $1.90 to $2 is great, double your money. Great stuff, hope to see you all on Friday night, good effort bro's.:nana :cheers I should say I did take Souths at 1-12.

Kiwimike, stick around bro and we'll make some money, you a code jumper aye,I hate Union and can't stand code jumpers, you better stay loyal to the real game from now on,nah just kidding, except for the part about hating Union,it sucks, the skill levels in that rubbish game are crap, the refs are pathetic and the supporters even more so,sorry bro,but you are in Rugby League land now. I'm just taking the piss bro, sweet as hang around mate, don't get to offended,i've had to listen to Onion supporters put down my sport for years now and now all of a sudden heaps of you onion supporters are suddenley jumping ship. But always nice to see another Aoteraroan on the net.
Haha, good call brother!, i love the Onion call as well, nice one bro :lol. But don't worry i have always been a league fan as much as i am a Union fan, i have only jumped codes on the betting front due to big losses, i am an avid warriors suppporter bro and i reckon the boys are looking good this year! hopefully they can win us a few bucks as well :ok Looking forward to your picks and hopefully this brother can regain some lost cash. :unsure Chur Bro! :dude

Hello everyone my name is Jumbo' date='some of you may know me,some may not,I'm noy a blowass I just like helping people make money off my fav sport,Rugby League.I won't post my entire picks here but I will tell you which teams i'm betting on,i've done it all weekend on here,my full tips can be found at www.Betshoot.com,I have a 82% sucess rate on the NRL and SuperLeague from the last 3 seasons,I have good contacts throughout Australia and England within different clubs and love the game and love making a living off it.So far this year I am 11 correct,1 wrong. on the SuperLeague and 4 correct,1 wrong on the NRL on this weekend,I have alot of information and am more than happy to talk to any of you guys if you are looking for information,Every tipster deserves encouragement and thats why i'm around,Good luck to all for the season and if you ever want to talk just ask and i'll see you on here or at Betshoot,we all need information to get better at picking winners even me,i'm not to proud to say it.;) By the way i'm tipping the Bunnies tomorrow night,Good Luck everyone,Happy punting.:cheers
Hey Jumbo, thanks for the post and your honesty , i certainly hope you continue to post and help us newbies!, i lost a bundle on the six nations , so i've jumped codes and hope to do better with the NRL. Appreciate any help and picks you can offer bro :D, an 82% success sounds awesome, hope you do even better this year. I picked the cowboys and warriors to win this round and they did, but as usual i didn't put any money on them:wall , always the way isn't it. Thanks also CP, great writeups mate, not a good start as you say, but its only round 1 buddy! , plenty of time yet to shine, keep it up. Cheers guys
  6. Re: Cricket: Chappell Hadlee Trophy NZ vs Aus (ODI) I'm on the kiwi's handicap of +2.5 wickets/25.5 runs at bet365 for 25 pts Brett Lee is out after rolling his ankle, he is thier best attacking bowler in my mind ,and no no ponting or gilcrest, this with the kiwis on home turf and after being booted out of the CB finals by England will be looking to leave for the world cup on a high note. All the best guys! Flemming is under big pressure here at the moment and will want the win from his guys to take the heat off him in the media.

  7. Re: Magners Celtic League Betting Thread 2006/7

Very interesting stuff you've got going on there, Wump. The only problem being that the ML is badly effected by HEC and the 6 Nations...so squads can be unrecognisible from one weekend to the next. That, though, is why I think there is a slight advantage to betting on the Mangers League....bookies don't always analyse the games as well as they should and they seem to afford some teams respect because of who they are rather than who they are playing and whos in the squads. Long may it continue
Yeah good call DAC and judging by your results , your right on. I agree, long may it continue and your posts to mate!:ok ..
  8. Re: Cricket: Commonwealth Bank ODI Series & Twenty20 International

Bad luck Crouch..... looks like 4/4 for me... Loye only made 15, Joyce made 66. New Zealand 2/58 of the first 10, while england could only manage 1/42. New Zealand opening partnership 32, england 27. And with flintoff just out it looks like an easy kiwi win from here... you beauty... :beer night all.... :ok
well done mate, nice start :clap...hope it continues for you
  9. Re: Cricket: SA vs Pakistan Test Series

Don't think the draws in play here :lol .
Hey Kev, this is true, but you can never be to sure mate, the last two tests the draw drop from over 30 on betfair to under 2!! on the last day of play cause of spots of rain, (i almost got stung twice!) , now i back the draw a little to cover and at 30's , you can afford to be safe by doing this, it only takes a tiny bit off the profit , you just never know when the rain might turn up in SA mate and spoil everyones party. I'm not trying to tell you what to do or anything, this is only from my own experience that i wanted to share with you guys. Cheers and all the best:ok
