Have played yankees at 11/10 to beat detroit tonight based on the poor record of verlander in new york where its something like five winless visits for him. Granted counting the one inning effort in the playoffs before the rain came last year is a little harsh. My main concern here is nova. Heck of a streak he is on since his last recorded loss and all streaks have to come to an end. Lets hope it isnt tonight! Am also toying with the angels and phillies but something at the moment nagging me not to pull the trigger. The Rams have stockpiled a massive arsenal of future draft picks, but they really haven't added too much for right now. I think we will see them struggle a bit again, but will be well served moving forward, so long as Bradford can find a way to progress. From a betting POV I'm quite interested in the Dallas Cowboys. They had so much more potential than the 9-7 record they showed last year, where their secondary was just atrocious and cost them several double digit leads. With Brandon Carr and now Morris Claiborne in their ranks, and not too many notable losses, I view them as a very balanced side with some dynamic weapons now on both Offense and Defense. -
Those two patriots picks were massive value picks and they are certain to trade back a couple of times now to get some extra picks. Is nobody else wondering why tampa passed up the chance to take claibourne in favour of barron considering the bucs hired the lsu db coach who had claibourne in college? I made new england, san diego and st louis the day one winners i think. Minnesota did well to get extra picks and take their guy at the sane time also. As a bears fan was slightly underwhelmed with shea mcclellin was convinced after the jets pick.it was ingram or chandler jones (who i really really wanted lol). I have to be honest i agree with all you wrote but was going down the "teams valuing picks" thought process but missed a bit there lol Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2I don't want to be sounding like a 'told you so' here but I think it may be worth noting for future drafts. The reason why I was thinking a team would trade up to 3rd is because of the new CBA agreement. In years previously you would have seen the upper picks be signed to large contracts based solely on their draft ranking. This isn't as much the case now since the new agreement put an end to that. Franchises can afford to move up because they aren't throwing the big money to do so all they are technically doing is giving up positions and/or picks. Dan, good job on that QB bet. I didn't see Weeden as a first rounder. -

My immediate thoughts were third and seventh seemed about right. But then i guess cleveland had picks to spare. I need to be correct about number ten and quarterbacks to save the day now. Vikes will not deal. Nobody will give up what it takes to move up to three. If jax dont trade out at seven the tannehill goes eight. We shall see weedens floor is the fifth pick of the second round with the browns in my opinion so if sonebody wants him then you need to jump ahead and that patriots pick will be up for grabs late in the first. Re: MLB: April 30th 2012 Picks Ok, Yu Darvish was pretty good against the Yanks last time out, but I have to trust my eye on him and I think he is over rated. The guy gives up too many hits and doesnt throw enough strikes, at some point a team is going to string some hits together and hit him HARD, I thought the Yankees would do that last time around but they didnt. This leads me to my next point, Toronto.......they can hit, and when they do, particularly in their own yard the ball goes a long way. Drabek pitches tonight and has been a lot better this year than last and finally looks like he may develop into the pitcher the Jays thought they were getting as the centre piece of the Halladay deal. I will get Darvish beat at some point, so....... Toronto to beat Texas by 4 or more runs @ 7.50 with bet365 (2pts)
