Re: NBA Week 2 thread (11-6 in Week 1)...
If you read through the whole thread he says as much very early on (also on the post on this page of thread), the picks listed are for information and the detailed analysis are his recommended bets, looing good tonight after an awful 3rd quarterEDIT: Actually I think I get what you're saying. You list a number of possible picks in order of preference for the day ahead. You then analyse things, decide which way you're going to go and play 1 or 2 of these a night? The actual bets you take are fully detailed with stake and possible winnings as well over/under amounts and handicap totals. Is that right? -

Re: NBA Week 2 thread (11-6 in Week 1)...
another winner :clap:clap:clapAtlanta/Toronto' date= 1H, under 96.5 -- $103 to win $100 Ok, I realize I have only lost ONE bet since last Friday and that ONE loss was Atlanta Under at Cleveland on Tuesday and it took a miracle OT to give me that loss...Am I tempting fate again?...Well, OT cannot burn me this time as I will bet the 1H... Atlanta has been a Stone Under team in the 1st half every game this season...They have also gone Under every game this season (in regulation) fairly easily...The pace of their games and shots taken have been slow and low, respectively...Atlanta is 3rd in the league in FG% allowed (on defense)...Ok, Toronto is 28th and love to run-and-gun, and yes, the last 8 in this head-to-head series have gone Over, but 2 of those were OT-aided Overs...Milwaukee is also run-and-gun and have gone Over 4 of their 5 games, yet, when they played at Toronto, the game stayed Under and they had a 201 total that game...And now we are to expect Atlanta and Toronto to hit 201?...And Speedy Claxton (their starting point guard) is doubtful tonight...Toronto and Philly had a slow-paced 1H last time out and then exploded for 125 in the 2H, and Atlanta did have a high-scoring 2H at Cleveland last time out, so since ATL has yet to even come close to going Over in the 1H this season, I will bet this game Under in the 1st half... -
Re: NBA Week 2 thread (11-6 in Week 1)... dude I have to say I think this is a great thread, and just what I need to bridge the gap, I suck at NBA. MLB and NFL are ok but there is a big gap, hope your form continues past february and I dont think your posts are that difficult to understand keep up the good work!!!!

Re: NFL Week 9!
do you usually refer to yourself in the 3rd person, who is this "we" you keep referring to?Soaking in Seattle!. Against All conventional wisdom, we are way out on a limb tonight. predicting an over in the Oakland Seattle Monday Night Game. Heavy rain is predicted for Seattle which would lead you to believe it will be a fieldgoa-fest. But we are banking on a turnover filled game tonight... Raiders backup QB Andrew Walter is capable of single-handedly coughing up a few major scores alone...Seahawks have gone over the total in their past five games..Seattle will be forced to go to backup Seneca Wallace..again..Wallace put up 28 points in last weeks loss at Kansas City in a very hostile Arrowhead Stadium. The peril of playing the over in this scenario..is that the running games will eat up the clock..(no kidding)..But we are banking on a sloppy turnover-filled football game. at Qwest Field in Seattle.. We are taking the OVER the 37 points -

Re: Mlb tuesday plays dont forget that the A's just beat a twins team that won their division - a division that included the Tigers - tigers beat a yankees team taht cannot pitch, we will see how they get on against a pitching team (even though detroits overall numbers lead the AL) thie series goes close, quite possibly all 7 games but Oakland prevail, starting with a win for Zito tonight, his numbers back him up in a big way and i think the home field advantage could be the key here

Re: NFL Wk. 3. sadly yes they have now voided the bets, this is a shame, and I have to say they did not do that on the baseball when they buggered that up on a game a few weeks back

Re: NFL Wk. 3.
i suggest before you get smart with me you go to www.premierbet.com and take a look i assure you i have just gone and checked and baltimore and philly are BOTH still +6.5 too good to be true they are the only company to have the handicap that way round believe me or not but i am onDanj2202 Its Baltimore and Philadelphia - 6.5 @ 1.91 ;) -
Re: NFL Wk. 3. I have to say that the two best bets of the weekend (now that I am on!!!) :lol would appear to be with Premierbet though you may have to get there quick Baltimore (+6.5) to beat Cleveland @ 1.91 and Philadelphia (+6.5) to beat San Fran also 1.91 get on quick dont see any way that can last long!!!!!! but it is surely a license to print money :nana

Re: NFL Week 10!
wont be an argument at all they are not obliged to pay out on any bet at all, they will just void it and sadly you would have to accept it, your only choice would be to appeal for a goodwill gesture and hope that they are prepared to honour their mistake, same thing happened to me one time and my bets got voided, cost me over £1000, so do not hold your breath good luck anyway :ok
