  1. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge Congrats!!! Blimey at this rate we will have to change the name of the mag to InsidePL :lol If you can drop me an email tommorow that would be much appreciated as we go to press on Weds. Also we could really use a photo of you for the next issue. So if anyone wants to stitch him up feel free to send one in. Cheers and vwp Alun

  2. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge Anyone who wants to join the guys above in London - make sure you play tonight in the final Five Star freeroll. $4,000 package up for grabs. And everyone at final table gets a seat at the live final, which is going to be a superb day. Stud 8 tonight. Password is... In the magazine. Readers only I'm afraid. GL all Alun

  3. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge Aha so it was VoJ So you see the trick is to say something nice about the mag and then Karma lets you win the next freeroll.....:lol Seriously though well played, and as for the email it's just a few questions for the mag Cheers Alun

  4. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge OK. We are rescheduled for tonight at 8pm. If you were already registered you will automatically be entered for the tournament tonight. Sorry for the delay - and good luck Cheers Alun

  5. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge If you look under completed tournaments it will show up as voided. Sadly I'm not able to say right now when we will be able to reschedule but as soon as I can I will post the details on our website and here. Thanks for bearing with us. Alun

  6. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge Site is back up, but it looks like the tournament has been cancelled for tonight. I don't have access to immediate answers on when the tourney will be rescheduled, but will post tomorrow as soon as I do. Many apologies for the inconvenience Alun

  7. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge Hello Will It's the weekend of June 9. In London. We are just confirming a venue this week. And sorry about the technical problems. I hear it will be back up shortly... Cheers Alun

  8. Re: Inside Poker - The best £10 I never spent The mag is available in Ireland, although the easiest, and cheapest, way is to subscribe. Follow the links from other PL'ers for cheap deals or try the ones on our site. If you don't get your mags in time for Monday's HORSE freeroll - just email me your subscriber details and I can send you that password after I check with our subs people. Nade, the magazine is aimed at anyone who loves poker. There are interviews and columns with star players from the US and UK, but more importantly there is loads of strategy advice. We deal with all aspects of the game from hold'em to Omaha to stud, tournaments and cash games. And the advice is written by pros and leading strategy writers, and not some idiot journalist! :lol The first ten people to email me at the address above can have a free copy of this month's issue. One time only offer :ok Advert over. Cheers Alun

  9. Re: Inside Poker - The best £10 I never spent So you got that £20 I sent you then? :lol In all seriousness though, thanks a lot mate you have made my day. We're always looking to make the mag better though, so if you or any of the other PL'ers have any comments or suggestions for strategy articles you want to see then feel free to email me on [email protected] Cheers Alun

  10. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge Next freeroll is open for business. Takes place next Thursday so don't leave it too long. This month it's Razz so sure to be a very good value tourney. Also don't forget everyone at the final table gets to play for a WSOP main event seat. So rather than slogging your way through hundreds of Grand Prix freerolls.....:lol Oh and Razz is easy. Cheers PLers Alun

  11. Re: BWin to take over Sporting Odds Bwin press release The Board of bwin Interactive Entertainment AG has noted the recent press speculation and confirms that it is in very preliminary discussions with Sportingbet plc for the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Sportingbet plc which may or may not lead to an offer. I was going to make a point about this not necessarily meaning anything will happen but the FT made it much better so... The offer is one of several that have been launched in the listed online gambling sector since its mass exodus from the lucrative US market last autumn. However, closing deals has proved elusive. Bwin was itself the subject of inquiries from PartyGaming late last year while Ladbrokes’ hopes of buying the assets of 888 Holdings rest on the UK bookmaker’s risk assessment of any US liabilities in 888.

  12. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge I'm not sure where you saw that, as it doesn't say that in the Lobby. You will be pleased to know it does say the tournament is for UK and ROI players only. The password you need is in the March issue, which goes on sale in the shops on Thursday. Subscribers should already have their copies. Cheers Alun

  13. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge Morning PLers Just to let you know that the next freeroll is open for registration in the Full Tilt lobby. This time it's Omaha hi/lo, which is probably my favourite variant so I will be playing even though I can't win anything. You on the other hand can win a WSOP seat, or do a Croc and nab a seat at the live final. Cheers Alun Alun Bowden Editor InsidePoker

  14. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge

Alun - how about a subscribers only tournament some time? You can verify who subscribes and who doesn't and check only they get prizes - should boost your subscriptions too .....
It's an interesting idea, and I definitely wouldn't rule it out at some point in the future.
  15. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge No problem Joe. The password was only available in the magazine, so I can only presume someone out there has been an idiot and reduced their own chances of winning. We are keen to keep it readers only, however, and will do all we can to make sure that is the case. To be fair to MANSION they put on a superb series and a great grand final, with a room full of Brits and a all British final table so they must have done something right. Cheers Alun
