Noooo, come on Smith. Hold it together. Biggest set of the match. The crowd aint helping singing "It's Coming Home"

I thought as soon as they start singing that it’s a curse to smith, they sung that last year did they not haha

  2. Should be a great final. I am still confident mvg wins in this form but if smith turns up again it could be close. If I wasn’t already on mvg I would be tempted to go for outside bet on smith but I will stick with my evens bet on mvg. Not sure what else to bet on for final apart from maybe fun bet on the 9 darter, also some double check outs to happen each set all small stakes.

    nine darter 12/1

if any one to get a nine darter it’s these two.

double 16 check out each set 26/1

double 8 check out each set 100/1

mvg utilised this side of board well last night and was only the last set he never hit a double 16 and he did have an attempt at it.

double 20 check out each set 6/1

double 10 check out each set 40/1

both players like double tops and with especially smith ending up more often than not on double 10 I think worth a small punt.

  3. Looking even more like MVG to win outright now with price out. I think VDB provides a better performance against him tho than dobey tonight. Smith dosnt look great but maybe he kicks in and and least makes final but won’t be surprised if clemens wins.

    double clemens +3.5 @ 1.44 and VDB +4.5 @ 1.4

total odds 2.02 with sky bet

  4. Think should be some good matches, not exactly all the names I was hoping to see but think all matches look good in there own way. 2 possible upsets I think are van den bergh and bunting winning. VDB is tricky for anyone on his day, I think Clayton back into form but I think still vulnerable. I have never been one to bet on bunting before but done the job for me last round and he just seems confident and he got the experience at this stage. I think price wins but not seen anything from him that I think it will be a white wash. MVG obviously just wins, and I mean whole thing now, right?

    double van den bergh +2.5 @ 1.4 and clemens +3.5 @ 1.5

total odds evens with sky bet

MVG  to win tournament outright evens

It's a good point and I'll expand on it, in a general way.

Let's say Nadal is 1.01 to beat a player ranked 20 in the world - would you back him? Probably not, because it's 1.01 right? What about 1.20? 1.30? 1.50? There comes a time when every bet is backable because the odds are in your opinion, larger than they should be. The real skill in betting is bank management and discipline. :ok

Same applies to backing underdogs. Of course you have to think they will win, but again, would you back the player ranked 20 at 5000/1? There is always a line and it's actually the odds that dictate whether you should bet or not.

I like under dogs, there’s sometimes a good reason to bet on them. That’s all speculative

ar short odds guy like berdych last night I never get..think 1.17. But u get albot at 1.50. Guy on form. I don’t care how short the price is am getting at. I just want to hear more confident bets

Guys, Andujar is very classy player on clay. When he is in form, he is capable to beat Top 20 players with offensive display, not waiting them to make mistakes or not to have a day. Wu is a fighter, but I don't think he will be capable to beat Pablo, which career was almost destroyed with so many injuries and surgeries. I would skip this match. Yeah, Wu always has a chance to take the match, but there is a syndrome that I am trying to heal in myself. To bet once again on a player that brought you money in his next match.

Thank you. I thought when he was serving for that last match at 5-4 he couldn’t do it. Andujar step up. Just a small bet on the boy then

I like your response maybe you can rank my pics next time in the order that you see them.. I think that would be a really effective exchange for understanding the strength of some of our underdog picks

To be honest I hate the “value” picks on underdogs generally. If there’s some one you don’t think is going to win but there’s “value” in it I don’t get. But you nailed it with this guy cause reading your right up I believed u believed he was going to win. I love information, I don’t always follow tips. U always go with own gut. Do u think tho one more time?

Tung-Lin Wu is once again a 2/1 underdog vs andujar .. I guess he gets no respect from the bookies.. The odds on this match should be close to 2.4 for Tung-Lin Wu - not 3.10

This is why I love this forum, finding nuggets like this. Followed him twice on the top of this. But  Serious question can he go one more time? Someone please give reason not to go again?
