While normally a very positive person in general, i for one am not getting excited for Tuesday, far from it. Each to their own of course, but the prospect of four odds on favourites and three massive field, wide open handicaps does not really stir my blood. This used to be by far my most favourite week of the year, (indeed i have been to the festival many times in the past),but since they have moved it from three days to four, the quality of the races has become so diluted.... ...and now there is even talk of a fifth day!(Sigh).
