judging pace?

how ya guys! When looking at the form of a race how do you know if theirs going to be a strong or a slow pace?thanks

Re: judging pace? Its worth looking for horses that are well known speed balls that will just go from the front and try and make all and burn others off, ones like Billy Red and Triskadephobia! Also worth noted how many likely front runners are in the field because they usually cut each other throats if youve got to 2 or more speedballs, but obviously on the other hand if there is no obvious front runner in the field they could go along dawdling, its all about knowing the horses and their previous form!
