An example. On the Betfair exchange you can get Rewilding to be placed at 1.35. Let's say I stake £10 on that. If Rewilding wins the race ... does that mean I win the bet and get the £3.50 profit?? Or because he wins he won and therefore wasn't 'placed'. Because if he does win I guess in a way he isn't a place ... therefore I'm guessing that if he won I'd lose the £10 bet? Or would I?
