5.25 Brighton: Loyal Royal 1pt win lay No doubt is well handicapped and indecent form going by comfortable AW win latest, however saves best form for that surface and has a particularly poor win record on turf having only won once (over 4 years ago. At 11/4 has to go down as a win lay as possible to find one or two too good IMO.

Lay of the day 17th August RIP VAN WINKLE - YORK 3-25 I think Byword will take all the beating in this race and i think Rip Van Winkle will be all out entering the final furlong and will set it up nicely for Byword who already beat Twice Over and ran a super race 2nd to Goldikova. Im willing to take on Rip Van Winkle as i dont think it should be 2/1 1 Point Lay
