Re: Hamilton (eve) - Wednesday 11 August 8.05 Hamilton Poppys Rose has been consistent this year and found the awful ground at Haydock not to her liking last time out under a penalty. Runs off 2lb lower tonight and should relish these better ground conditions and rider is able to claim his full useful 5lb today. 0.5pt e/w poppys rose

The GoingStick is 8.9. There are five non runners. 5.20 6 Quaker Parrot (travel), 8 Almaty Express (going) 5.50 5 Mirror Lad (travel) 6.20 4 Applaude (going) 8.05 1 Ingleby Star (sc).

Re: Hamilton (eve) - Wednesday 11 August 8.05 Hamilton - Cheyenne Red - 13/2 Sportingbet Trainer had been massively out of form but im hoping the recent winner can change the yards fortunes. Still lightly raced and has been running well in defeat off marks similar to this one recently. Likes it here with both career wins at Hamilton and also likes cut in the ground. Has ran mainly over 6f but his one run over 5f this year was quite eye catching, stayed on very strongly under a hands and heels ride at Beverley so their could be more to come over this shorter trip. Usually travels well off the pace and with a few front runners in the field that should suit this one well. Was 11/1 this morning but has been well backed throughout the day, current price still represents value in my opinion with those at the head of the market worth laying in my opinion.
