Re: Wolverhampton - Monday 9th August 3.15 Wolverhampton A potentially good looking handicap for the grade with several inform sorts. Feeling Fresh is nothing but inconsistent mainly blowing the start and more than capable if breaking on terms. Bahamian kid is the opposite and is nothing but consistent but hasnt been seen for nearly 4 months and same could be said about Kensington. So that points me to the likely favourite in Whispering Spirit who is lightly raced for a 4yr old and has improved rapidly wearing the visor and switching back to the polytrack and won extremely well over CD last time out with more up his sleeve than winning margin suggests up a fair 5lb for that and Amy Ryan helps offset 2lb of that (previous rider was able to claim 3lb she can claim 5lb) and that form has alreayd started to work out with the 4th place winning nicely at lingfield on friday. 1.5pt win whispering spirit 5.15 Wolverhampton Tomintoul Star is a horse I have followed recently and finally got her head in front for a well deserved victory in a maiden handicap at southwell, she had previously been unlcuky to bump into some well handicapped horses and her turf form is best forgotten she is clearly an all weather horse and has mainly run at southwell but was a very good second on only start on polytrack which suggest she can handle it, up 5lb for that handicap win which looks a little harsh but this race is weak and her and runner up were well clear of the rest of them and Ruth Carr's string continue in superb form this summer! 1pt win tomintoul star
