He narrowly went down by a head on his penultimate start over course and distance where he was headed late home by Only A Splash who is also entered in this race. A 6lb pull in the weights should be enough for him to reverse the form and although he has went up 5lbs in the handicap since that race, Patrick Donaghy takes claims 5lbs in this race. The horse is twice a distance winner in testing conditions although both those wins were 4 years ago but he is well handicapped on that form.
