15:15 Ripon - Burma Rock 1pt lay Yet to win on turf and is 5lb higher then lto, has been held previously off lesser marks on turf and I think he'll struggle to win in a tough field.

Re: Lay Of The Day 2nd Aug CATALPA SAIL 2.50 Naas. 1 point lay. Has the best form, but not by much and would be the most exposed runner. The form may stand up but I think a couple can improve enough to make it a very close run thing, so with that and being around the 11/8 mark, I much rather be a layer than a player, irrespective of the end result. I'll lay the 6/5 that Ladbrokes are currently offering.

Re: Lay Of The Day 2nd Aug 230 NA: Opening Meet Unancied and won at 33/1 for the NIcholls camp last time, here he carries a penalty and is poor value at 5/2, two main contenders in opposition with Saddlers Star and Wilbury Star and hopefully one of them can beat the selection.

However that was on good to soft and it doesn't look a particularly strong race IMO. Therefore with a strong Mark Johnston horse in opposition who I would far rather be on at the prices even money looks too short for the lay and willing to take it on.

Re: Lay Of The Day 2nd Aug Windsor 6.40 - Wreningham - win lay Currently favourite for the sprint handicap. Looks to be in the handicappers grip at the moment. Went up 6 lbs for it's last win and has crept up another couple since for placing. Has run 6 times since that last win and has finished 2nd, 3rd or 4th each time, which suggests that he's just a few pounds too high at the moment. Seems to save his best runs for yarmouth these days, not sure why, i don't think of it as a specialist kind of track. He's never run here, but I wouldn't be too worried about that. Apart from his handicap mark, I'm opposing him on run style. he's an out and out front runner and there are at least 2 others in the field, both drawn inside him. I think he'll go off too fast attempting to get the lead and leave the race open for a late running type.
