Cricket: Caribbean Twenty20

Recommended Posts

The Caribbean version of the twenty20 competition begins at 9pm tonight. Had hoped to get this thread up earlier but PL isn't playing ball. It's all on ESPN in the UK so we might get a few betting opportunities. I won't be betting on every game I don't think but the latter stages should be good betting heats. Schedule:

Re: Cricket: Caribbean Twenty20 One outright for me. No bets on tonight's two matches. 4pts Trinidad & Tobago to win Caribbean Twenty20 7/4 Bet365 I really like Trinidad & Tobago in this competition. I think they've got all bases covered. Strong batting lineup, great spin options and very economical medium pace options too and in Daren Ganga they have one of the best captains in the world game not just the Caribbean one. With the likes of Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo and Lendl Simmons in their side they have a very good international all round middle order. Barath and Simmons can get them off to flyers and the likes of Sherwin Ganga, Samuel Badree and Dave Mohammed can strangle with their spin. Looking around the other 7 sides for dangers and you'd have to say there aren't many. Jamaica look the obvious danger. Guyana could've been but Chanderpaul is playing with Lancashire not Guyana. Jamaica have the likes of Gayle, Samuels and Nikita Miller but Gayle isn't captain which seems weird. Barbados could go well but their batting doesn't match up to their bowling. I think T&T will probably end up playing Jamaica in the final but it's the Trinidad men who I think will win this competition and take their place in the Champions League.
