What are peoples thoughts on the Tote? In other countries it is massive but here not so much. Markets for meetings like Ascot are pretty big but I guess the pool is small for standard meetings so it has a lot less appeal Tote Swinger type bets are actually a good thing imo. I believe most the money they can spend on their marketing goes on the fixed odds anyway as it is not as popular but if they do not spend money people will not know. I had heard of the Tote Swinger (using this as an example here) but did not know what it was. Do people here bet soley opn the Tote or use it much? I am guessing a massive no! The PMU for example is massive but why is that? Is it a traditional thing?

Personally I sometime use it when I am at meetings to get smaller bets on etc. but from a daily perspective dont use it! Isnt it the only way to bet in most countries??
