tilt.trader
Hello, I have a question regarding Betfair and Gambling Income Taxes. I understand that there are countries like UK that do not tax (government income tax) on profits from wagering. There are other countries that do tax. My question is: does Betfair send the P&L history of a particular account to the Tax Govenment Organization of the country where the player is located? Thanks
Gingertipster
Re: Betfair and Income Taxes on Gambling TT, Don't take it as 100% certain. But I would think your bet is technically in Britain, as that is where Betfair come from. So being a British bet, there is no tax. Though I believe certain countries frown on use of Betfair, such as USA. May be the best place to ask your question is the betfair forum, or have a look at their rules. Am sure there must be something there to help. :ok
