Trendsman
If anyone has been following the young Sam Twiston-Davies the past few weeks he has been riding exceptionally well for the old man and this year is showing. 46-9-8 Which for a young jock is quiet an exceptional strike rate 2010 April : 5-1-3 / May : 28-4-4 / June : 13-4-1 Now he has a full book of rides at Uttoxeter tonight. 18.40 : Hermoso 19.10 : Ash High 19.40 : What A Scientist 20.10 : Wild Tonto 20.40 : Papradon 21.10 : Kilvergan Boy I would be surprised not to see the young jock not getting at least a winner on the board tonight, Papradon looks like his possible winner after hosing up last time out, but the one that interests me is "WHAT A SCIENTIST"in the third on the card. Now this horse is trading around 16/1 and has dropped back to tonights mark of 105 where he won off that mark at Stratford over three and a half miles on good ground, but he looked more effective on soft ground when winning over course and distance prior to his 105 mark when winning off 98. was rated 114 last year and has struggled but dropping back to this current marl and the young jock riding well at present i would like to see this run a bold race tonight. What A Scientist : e/w @ 16/1 Papradon : 2pt Win @ 6/1 As for the rest of his mounts.. Hermoso : (12/1) - 3rd Is going to be hard to beat the favorite in this in Sahrati (1st) and Hermoso has not shown much on his two starts for the yard this year but was winner over 3m in soft conditions abroad. might be worth watching in the market on his third run for the yard any money will show obvious signs. Ash High : (6/1) Is getting weight all round here as has dropped another 4lb for his third run over the larger obstacles, has progressed from his chasing bow when finishing sixth over 3m on GF, interesting drop back in trip tonight but has been beaten over this trip in the past, and would probably want a furlong less, but again off the low weight might get involved. Wild Tonto : (5/1) There has been money for this tonight and never showed much when in handicap company. Won a claimer prior to this at Newton Abbott over 2m 3f and won it with authority off 110, has not shown much off his current mark of 117 but has been placed in a seller here and i would suggest to watch the market here as any more money behind this could be a boost. Kilvergan Boy: (7/1) Has been tumbling down the weights and was not disgraced when finishing fourth of fourteen at Stratford over 2m 3f. Sam has only ridden him the once when finishing sixth over two and three quarter miles and dropping back to two and a half miles could be interesting. Rainbow
Re: UTTOXETER swiss art 640 utt. 1 pt win. alison thorpe does well with this type, and with being fit from the flat, im sure shes seen something to warrant putting him straight over hurdels. could improve for the new suroundings and could be a better hurdler than flat racer. time will tell, but at odds of around 20s on the exchanges, im willing to take the chance.
