When i've been in the past i've only ever played Blackjack, wanted to have a go at poker, but not sure what poker games are used in casino's and how they work. Any ideas?? It is pretty rare to find one on a saturday (although blackpool has one I think?) - they are mostly held during the week. Usually the casinos card room if they have one will hold a couple of texas hold em tournaments each week, with buys of between 5-50 quid a shot (rebuys are almost always allowed in live games except for special "main event" freezeouts).
