NRL Round 7

Recommended Posts

Two bets for me this round that stick out: Bulldogs v Broncos - Bulldogs (-7.5) @ 1.90 - Centrebet The bulldogs got back to winning ways against the tigers last week, and they completely dominated in the first half, with only some poor execution letting them down, but eventually they run away convincing winners. The Broncos on the other hand were also convincing with a solid win at home over the Sharks. This match however sees the Bulldogs lineup unchanged and Matt Gillette and Peter Wallace out for the Broncos. Losing Wallace is a big blow and now have to focus on Lockyer to shut the attacking play down. Given that the Broncos also have the worst defensive record in the league, I dont think they will have many problems to get over the line. Sea Eagles v Titans - Titans (-12.5) @ 2.11 - Centrebet The Sea Eagles have Brent Kite back for this match and the Titans continue without Scott Prince and will be without Mat Rogers. After losing the first two of the season Manly are starting to look the goods and played well against the Storm on Monday. The Titans have never had a good time at Brookie, losing the last three, and I dont think anything is going to change in that regard. Sea Eagles to beat the line.

Re: NRL Round 7 Bulldogs -17.5 @ 3.25 centrebet Great effort from the Bulldogs to beat Wests last week and a continued roll on from them should be enough to beat the Broncos here. The Bulldogs showed that they are a team that is very hared to beat when they put it together, so like them to get their combinations right again. The Broncos come off a good win over poor opponent. The Bulldogs will be a much tougher opponent and if they can expose the team with the worst missed tackle rate in the NRL then Ennis and Kimmorley should be able to get their players over the try line. The Bulldogs are the better side in the backs and the forwards, so a good team effort and they can win this one easily Eels -12.5 @ 3.30 centrebet With the Cowboys missing O’Donnell, Bowen, Payne and Thurston, they lack the cutting edge to beat the Eels who will be on a high after beating the Rabbitohs. They will look to continue that momentum against the unerstength side and with a much better backline, if they can reccycle this ball out wide, then they should have too much for the Cowboys. The home side will be valiant, but in the past, without Thurston, they have struggled, and now without these other key players, they are ripe for the taking
