2.40 Catterick Bijou Dan has a fantastic course record and would represent a danger to my selection which is Royal Trooper who is up just 1lb after a CD win last time out in november and the Given yard are goiung great guns at the moment which would suggest his runners are going well. 0.5pt e/w royal trooper 3.10 Catterick Several useful sorts lineup in this class 3 handicap. Crackentorp attracts me at 8/1 with pp when bet365 go 11/2 which is probably a fair price. He brings a very lightly raced progressive profile into the race havin won a maiden and decent handicap on the AW at lingfield at start of career and several strong efforts in better company last term and clearly goes well fresh ground is the only worry. 0.5pt e/w crackentorp 8/1 pp 3.40 Catterick Spavento is an interesting contender coming from an irish career for new connections and should relish the underfoot conditions, their form tends to be solid and has been placed in hotter races than this over there off this mark. Re: Catterick 7th April Big pricer for the opening claimer at Catterick today. 2.10 Highly Acclaimed 0.1pts win @ 109.0 Betfair (matched) 0.1pts place @ 15.5 Befair (matched) This is quite a nicely bred horse from Ann Duffield's stable who could be suited by this trip on this ground on breeding. Has attempted 7f previously but that was on good to firm going and best form to date has been shown with cut in the ground. With today's ground conditions looking ideal and put in off a featherweight with Amy Ryan good for her additional 5lbs claim, may run well at a big price in a race that won't take a lot of winning IMO.
