I have worked on horse systems that mainly showed strike rates around the 25-30% mark to obtain profit. I wanted to start looking at systems with consistently higher rates around 70% Statistically all favourites of a race place around 62% of the time, value odds at 1.62. Im going to set a minimum odds criteria of 1.62 to horses forecasted favourite, now on paper that would only work with a significant edge. So using ratings ill narrow down the selections to find that edge and hopefully achieve the strike rate im looking for. paper trial for first 50 selections, re-evaluate from there on, prices taken on the BF exchange and will start at 10pts each.
