I know this is early but I truly can't see this price being available in the morning so want to post it up now!! 1:30 Cheltenham - Dunguib - Back I'm absolutely staggered that I'm getting Evens on this lad. I would happily be taking 4/6. He has absolutely devoured every single field he has faced (with the exception of his debut when 2nd behind a now rated 145 horse). In his 9 race career, he's won al 8 starts since his debut and the manner of the voctories has been breathtaking. In order from oldest to most recent, the end line of his sporting life comments and winning margin read: 15/11/08 - clear from 2f out, easily - won by 9l 14/12/08 (Grade 2) - ran on strongly, not fully extended, impressive - won by 13l 11/03/09 (Cheltenham Festival Champion Bumper) - led over 2f out, quickened clear - won by 10l 29/04/09 (Grade 1) - stayed on strongly, eased close home, impressive - won by 9l 25/10/09 (hurdle debut) - led under restraint last, eased clear run-in, not extended, impressive - won by 4l 14/11/09 - eased clear run-in, unextended - won by 4.5l 02/12/09 - clear before last, shaken up run-in, easily - won by 7l 07/02/10 - went 2nd before last, led on bridle inside final furlong, kept on well, not extended, impressive - won by 2.5l There's been alot of talking about suspect jumping and so forth but I think alot of that is bookmaker saremongering cos they want to get people's money going on other horses in the race to avoid getting murdered in the Festival's opening race. He's come off the bridle once since his debut defeat. People can say what they like about him 'not beating anything' and so on, but when you have a horse frequently beat graded fields without even coming off the bridle, then he's something special. People can put there money where they like in the first race, but mine is firmly on Dunguib. He is, quite simply, the Real Deal. I hope he looms up to the last absolutely cruising and quickens away to win by a wide margin 1pt win @ Evens William Hill BOG please

He boasts a very impressive course and distance record which reads F121111. Is only 1lb higher than his win here in November so I really don't see that being a hinderence. Acts on any going, Nina Carberry knows the horse very well so there is not much reason at all to oppose this horse who is a specialist in this type of race. Is 11 years old now but has showed no signs of a decline in form. The race at Punchestown LTO over an inadequate 2m was clearly just to blow any cobwebs away and I expect to see this horse in the winners enclosure yet again tomorrow. 2pt win Garde Champetre @ 9/4 (WillHill - BOG)

Is only 1lb higher than his win here in November so I really don't see that being a hinderence. Acts on any going, Nina Carberry knows the horse very well so there is not much reason at all to oppose this horse who is a specialist in this type of race. Is 11 years old now but has showed no signs of a decline in form. Finished 8-th last year, but now will be few lbs lighter. If his jumping is ok may be seen fighting for place with good odds.

Many of the opposition have issues and need things to fall right and looks like a race waiting for an upset to me. 25/1 bet365 bog

Improving type, as many in this race are, but I think this race will suit him and he has the class to go close. Couldn't ask for a better jockey and the ground's no concern. Should be able to give the short favourite a big run for it's money.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Tuesday 16th March Haven't been able to get on here for a long while, partly due to a hols in the Caribean, and then due to being away in the daytime with work. Let's hope I don't resume with too much of a disaster. 5:25 Sedgefield: Marleno. 1 point LAY (2/1 Skybet) The selection has been running in much better class bumpers, hence the support for him this morning. His performances have been nothing special, and I don't believe his stable have seriously fancied him in those races (20/1 has been his lowest SP) so the mere fact that he's mixed with better quality might not amount to much. There are at least 3 others in this field with better claims IMHO, and at the price there is value in opposing the selection.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Tuesday 16th March Southwell 1.20 - Effisio princess - EW at 16/1, BOG, Stan James Couldn't believe the price on this one this morning - I'd picked it out last night as my EW choice thinking it would be about 8/1.......... CD winner, goes well fresh, comes back off a break, second top rated on my speed figs (top rated is Jonnie Skull who's better at 7 furlongs ), dropped a couple of pounds in the weights and now just 3 lbs above last winning mark............and dead 8 runners (for now !........:unsure) It might just be that the horse isn't 'off' today and it's drifting or it might be that the bookies know about a non runner that we don't know about.........but taking all that into consideration, looks a cracking EW bet at the odds !

I pinpointed this horse last season as having a big race in him and hopefully Pipe knows how to handle the horse now and also Murphy up top. Its record over the trip is 331 and is a course winner so has a great chance to win this. Has 9lb to find to win this. 13/2 Bet365 1pt win

Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Tuesday 16th March Sizing Europe 2.05 Cheltenham I think the horse oozes class and has once again got the beating of Captain Cee Bee, while I think Sports Line is the main danger. Sizing Europe has jumped well and was cantering all over the field in Ireland and still galloped to the line for an emphatic win. There are loads of questions about it not staying up the hill but today is the day to make up for blowing his Champion Hurdle chance a few years ago. Ground fine, trip fine, travels well and I think it will surprise a few by digging in to the line.

Lay off to overcome this time around, but that is reflected in the price, and I have every faith she can do so. VlV the only serious form threat, and her best run was over 2m.

'He has lots of gears and while he's a bit inexperienced over hurdles he's not inexperienced as a racehorse as he's run in five bumpers and twice on the Flat. 'I've had him away schooling a couple of times and he hasn't put a foot wrong. I know it will be a fast-and-furious race and we are taking a bit of a chance, but we have to do that.'

Has it do with some of today's rivals but I feel the first time blinkers could make a big difference and in a wide open race think Nicholl's horse may come out on top.
