Festival Handicaps

Have been using the same selection method for the last 4 years for the Handicap races at the festival. Quite often throws up a few qualifiers but has produced some big priced winners and some decent placers. All prices taken live from bet fair. Tuesday 2.40 William Hill Trophy Handicap Chase New Alco 34.0 W 6.2 PL Has been placed 4 times out of 6 starts at Cheltenham and has form on decent ground. Nenuphar Collonges 29.0 W 5.7 Pl Is a bit of Cheltenham specialist with a record of 2 wins 2 places from 4 starts including wining the Albert Bartlett novices' hurdle at festival two years ago. Beat The Boys 65.0 W 9.8 Pl A Cheltenham winner in the past who will like the drying ground. N T D's horse has been inconsistent of a late with a record of PU-1-PU-1-PU in the last 5 races....what comes next in the sequence???? Chief Dan George 38.0 W 7.6 Pl WON Winner last time out and will relish the drying ground but has poor course record thus far. Officier De Reserve 44.0 Win 10.0 Pl Again not a great record at Cheltenham but interesting making debut for new stable off a low weight.

Re: Festival Handicaps System produced a nice winner yesterday in Chief Dan George. 4.00 CORAL CUP HANDICAP HURDLE RING THE BOSS 160.0 W 18.0 Pl Reeled off a five timer back in 07 over hurdles then went chasing with mixed results. Seems to go on most types of ground an O'Brien has a decent record when on board.
