Bangor-on-Dee - Wed March 3rd

Recommended Posts

4.20 Bangor-on-Dee: That's Rhythm 0.5pt e/w @ 9/1 Bet365 BOG Last seen over hurdles in 2007 when looking a decent prospect. Reverted to chasing and has made decent progress winning from a mark of 131 on penultimate start and running quite well in a stronger race than this when last seen in December. Returns to hurdles today running from a mark of 130 on ground that shouldn't inconvenience and should see out every yard of this trip - must be given a decent chance at value odds. 5.20: Pie at Midnight 0.5pt e/w @ 25/1 SportingBet Form of first run when 2nd on heavy going not looking too bad with the 5th horse home that day going on to win - can probably be forgiven LTO effort on the fibresand when finishing a well beaten 4th at Southwell. The other horses in this race with previous racecourse experience don't look any great shakes IMO and think this one has a live chance at big odds. The real dangers look to be the Rebeccas Curtis and Alan Swinbank debutants.

5.20: Also like the look of Pensnett Bay in the 5.20 who may come on for the recent run and whose debut 2nd looks pretty decent form too. Staking plan change for the 5.20 race. Pie at Midnight: 0.25pt e/w @ 25/1 SportingBet Pensnett Bay: 0.25pt e/w @ 20/1 Betfred BOG
