Excel help needed please

Hi everybody,

I’d really appreciate it if anyone out there could provide me some help, (if indeed what I’m trying to do is actually possible)

I have a spreadsheet with various worksheets in it, and what I would like to be able to do is find rows of info in one worksheet, and list it in the other worksheet, but only the selected rows?

Sheet 1

A

B

C

1

Team

Rating

Selection

2

Arsenal

52

1

3

Aston Villa

50

0

4

Celtic

45

0

5

Newcastle

43

0

6

Norwich

40

2

7

Leeds

40

0

8

Rangers

46

0

9

Chelsea

53

3

10

Man Utd

52

0

11

Tottenham

50

4

12

Bolton

44

0

13

Etc

Etc

Etc

In the above example, sheet 2 would then look like this:

A

B

C

1

Selection

Team

Rating

2

1

Arsenal

52

3

2

Norwich

40

4

3

Chelsea

53

5

4

Bolton

44

6

Etc

Etc

Etc

The rows in sheet 2 will always be in ascending numerical order, but the selection number could change on sheet 1 as in the example below:

Sheet 1

A

B

C

1

Team

Rating

Selection

2

Arsenal

52

1

3

Aston Villa

50

2

4

Celtic

45

0

5

Newcastle

43

3

6

Norwich

40

0

7

Leeds

40

0

8

Rangers

46

0

9

Chelsea

53

4

10

Man Utd

52

5

11

Tottenham

50

6

12

Bolton

44

0

13

Etc

Etc

Etc

And then sheet 2 would look like this:

A

B

C

1

Selection

Team

Rating

2

1

Arsenal

52

3

2

Aston Villa

50

4

3

Newcastle

43

5

4

Chelsea

53

6

5

Man Utd

52

7

6

Tottenham

50

8

Etc

Etc

Etc

Hopefully I’ve explained myself, and one of you Excel wizards out there will be able to help me. I suspect that it will either be very easy, or impossible!!

Many thanks in anticipation

Re: Excel help needed please I hope that it is still legible...it didn't look like that when I pasted it!! :\ And to top it all, I've posted it in the wrong place!!!!! Sorry, and hopefully one of the mods will move it, and then I'll try to format it differently when I've had some sleep.
