2.30 Lingfield Very decent handicap for the grade and time of year with plenty of useful sorts. Farleigh house had been running very well on the AW in october and won off a mark 8lb lower but did run a very good race off a 4lb lower mark and showed clearly to still be in good heart when winning a decent looking novice hurdle and last time out was put in the deep end in a hot race but aslong as he picks up where he left off for Prescott on the AW he should have everychance to make his present felt from stall 8. Suzi spends also attracts me at the chance of going off at a slightly bigger price. She was 3 lengths behind confidentially last time out and gets a 7lb pull in the weights and although not convinced that will be turn around, she was rushed up at the start having fluffed the start, she hasnt had a chance to get going on the AW yet but does posess a very attractive strik rate with 3 wins and 6 places from 13 starts on the AW. She is now 2lb lower than last win over CD november 08 and has remained lightly raced since. 0.5pt e/w farleigh house 0.25pt e/w suzi spends 3.40 Lingfield Another decent looking handicap with many usual rivals over 5f here. Lord of the Reins has recently been classed as a kempton 'specilist' but he is 2 from 4 around here and although all those wins have come over 6f over this course however he is more of a 5f specialist and is in fine form at the moment when looking to be travelling well when being met with a lot of trouble in the home straight and unable to get the passage but even so only finished 1 1/2l behind the winner and gets to run off the same mark today and with plenty of early pace on in this race with fromsong, ten down and silver prelude in the line up the race could well be setup for a finisher! 1pt win lord of reins

Re: Lingfield 20th Jan (AW) EDITHS BOY 3.40 has a decent C&D record at 42318 all in class 5 races,in a bit of form winning 2 out of last 4 races,the 8 was due to a bad draw.good ew bet for me here.
