2.50 Ffos Las Of all jump racing it is competitive hurdle handicaps that get my juices going the most and this looks a brilliant race! 3 catch my eye and are all towards the top end of the market and probably no surprise, my first is gonna be Galaxy Rock won fairly comfotably last time out by 5 lengths up a total of 8lb for that effort, no form has come out of that race yet but it looked a solid enough race and has been known to string good efforts together concern has to be the ground he appears to go better on better ground. Herons well won over this course 3 starts ago is now 1llb higher from that effort having finished 2nd to Iconoclast who went on to win impressively today and he certainly sees this trip out well and the use of a claimer takes 7lb off (although dont know nothing about him and not had a winner over the jumps yet), he should also relish the testing conditions. The final one that catches me is the irish raider Barcardero, he won well over the bigger obstacles at Down royal up 14lb for that effort and the form is working out very well with 3rd going on to win, if he can ply that improvement back over hurdles should go well in these testing conditions. 0.25pt e/w Galaxy Rock 7/1 pp 0.25pt e/w Barcardero 7/1 pp 0.25pt e/w Herons Well 8/1 pp

Re: Ffos Las 17th Jan 14:50 Ffos Las Galaxy Rock landed a gamble when hewon impressivley over course and distance LTO and a rise of 8lbs might not be enough to stop the horse following up with more improvement still expected since he has only had 12 races to date. Champion jockey A P McCoy takes the ride again and the horse should go well under him having won on the horse 3 times now. My Selection landed a hat-trick in handicap races over distances up to 2m6f to end off last season and finally got off to winning ways this season LTO. Has won twice on Good To Soft ground conditions so today's Soft going should not be a problem. 1pt win Galaxy Rock @ 7/1 (Paddy Power - BOG)
