Southwell 14th Jan (AW)

Recommended Posts

2.50 Southwell Miss bootylishes held on in grity style over cd two week in a claimer, wouldnt normally look to hard at claiming form but this looks solid, having been running on unfavourable terms and beating some decent sorts with 3 behind going on to win. Amy baker on board again and although back in handicap company she may be improving and shaped well at first try at this try trip over a mile on the fibresand. 0.25pt e/w miss bootylishes 3.20 Southwell Premier lad looks finally poised to go in here hopefully, I was convinced there was some improvement to come on his seasonal reappearance back in november but has failed lately and now looks throroughly exposed but having said that he showed he was primed for attack when staying on very strongly when left far too much to do but smaller field and a more positive ride will see him in the thick of things off same mark and makin on baord again. 1pt win premier lad

Re: Southwell 14th Jan (AW) 13:50 - Boogie Waltzer (win) @ 6/4 Hills (bog) Boogie Waltzer won well at Lingfield on his last start over the 5 furlongs and should be able to defy the 6lb penalty, there was alot to like about his first success against decent horses in form, coming up against a bunch who haven't had much success of late today and if taking to Southwell which many horses don't, he should be a major player. 14:20 - Bubbly Bellini (win) @ 6/4 365, Inside Track (win) @ 5/2 365 Pretty boring taking the top two in the market but I'm struggling to spilt these two but also am pretty sure one of them will be winning the race. Both are in very good form, George Baker's gelding came 2nd over C&D LTO and has had two wins in his last four runs, he won over the 5f here. Inside Track is a C&D winner two starts ago, he folowed that up with a second over the eight furlongs on previous runs where he had 3rd favourite Hubble Space six lengths behind, Tamarind Hill is still a maiden after 11 runs although going close on a couple of starts, its hard to see one of the top two not picking up the prize.
