1.30 Wolverhampton Not a very special handicap and should be dictated by the front 2 in the market Kheley is a keen front runner and is long overdue a win but tends to always set the race up for a finisher, and I cant see past Diapason who was well backed last time out and his form isn’t anything special but he did show promise on penultimate start when he was forced wide throughout that was his all weather debut and appeared to have plenty left last time out and the slightly shorter trip shouldn’t inconvenience too much and could well prove to be unexposed on the AW! 2pt win Diapason 3.30 Wolverhampton A dodgy apprentice handicap with many of these in fine form, goodbye cash has been in cracking form recently but concerns with a 2lb rise in handicap and a 6lb penalty is on the harsh side. Divine force keeps catching the eye, fairly lightly raced and won with extreme ease on penultimate start at lingfield over 6f up 6lb for that and was caught off a slow pace last time out and never really able to get into it but ran on VERY strongly and useful claimer taking off 5lb. 1pt win divine force 4.00 Wolverhampton Another one of my notebook horses who again keeps catching the eye but failing to deliver, Kickahead. He has improved rapidly on the hurdle scene with a good 6th behind Danis girl in a listed event at ascot and caught the eye on comeback on the flat over cd on penultimate start and was well back last time out but again got caught short of room yet again last time out and clearly he needs the room to come through with his effort otherwise he doesn’t seem to follow through, but same jockey on board so is gonna know his quirks now hopefully. 0.5pt win kickahead

Re: Wolverhampton 11th Jan (AW) Wolverhampton 13:30 - Diapason (win) @ 2.24 Betfair (£87 @ 2.26, £119 at 2.24) I liked this one's victory LTO, slowly away from the stalls but ran on well, not sure the step down in trip but I believe the horse is alot better than this and in this company can go on to score again despite the 6lb penalty. Wolverhampton 15:30 - Divine Force (win) @ 3.50 Betfair (£8 @ 3.65, £16 @ 3.6, £183 @ 3.5) Backed this one on his last run where he was a bit unlucky, didn't leave the stalls the best and was behind, come up strong about 1f out but didn't get a proper run if you like, change of jockey today, not sure about the need for the step up in trip but could still be good enough.
