Kauto v. the new Kauto

Recommended Posts

Obviously I'm looking forwards to a fantastic week's racing starting on Boxing Day, I'd love to see Kauto further cement his standing with Imperial Commander push him to the limits again, but I'm also looking forward to seeing the horse that Anthony Bromley describes as the next "Kauto". Long Run is entered in the 155 race, the 3m Novice Chase. Could be interesting?

Re: Kauto v. the new Kauto This is a hard one "Diamond" We have to look at horse's of the past and present such as Istabraq, Inglis Drever and of course Kauto Star. To say the new Kauto Star is around the corner would be a long way off, i do not feel i have seen anything to take over Inglis Drever's accomplishments or Istabraq's and especially Kauto Stars. The french horse Long Run is having his first run in this country but is now trained by Nicky Henderson.obviously we will see how good he really is as has the credentials which has brought him a Grade 1 win over hurdles also a Grade 2 & 3 wins. has run well in this company also in france winning a Grade 1 chase beating a good horse in Rubi Ball. So potentially has the class but will he adapt to the UK fences only time will tell but with the right trainer.
