Had shown plenty of promise in maidens but certainly went the wrong way in handicaps but could prove unexposed on the aw and Smart has got his horses on fire at the moment. 0.5pt e/w striker torres 3.00 Wolverhampton Fantasy fighter has continued to run extremely well recently and won off a mark of 55 and ran out a good second in a fairly hot race last week 1/2length behind sarahs art who had been contesting much hotter races than this as that form looks solid enough up another 1lb today but useful claimer is able to claim an extremely useful 5lb and good draw in stall 3. 0.5pt win fantasy fighter 4.30 Wolverhampton Wide open affair certainly gives us e/w punters a nice chance to find a little something and I personally like John Potts who comes here on the back of a decent enough 6th on seasonal reappearance and likely to strip fitter today and drawn much better today. Has previous gone close over CD in the spring of this year off a 1lb mark and similar could be said for spring 08 but is yet to win a race is a concern but clearly likes it round here. 0.25pt e/w john potts 5.00 Wolverhampton Yanza’s last run can be totally discounted when given a poor ride by an inexperienced jockey (jockey was also injured in race) but had previously been running well in front recently including over CD off a 2lb higher mark, clearly has something to do from a wide draw has previously gone well from a wide draw and Fairley will certainly give her a better ride than last time out and cant be discounted. 0.25pt e/w yanza
