12.40 Hereford Grasscutter is a consistent sort without getting his head in front too much and making a lot of mistakes in jumping but has shown some of his best form on softer ground yet has been runner over faster ground recently and now drops to a lowly mark of 95 and maybe capable of better taking on a further trip and softer ground again. 0.5pt e/w grass cutter

Looks a tricky customer having to be led down to the start on that occasion. Richie McGrath never really put the horse into the race that day but put in some eye-catching work late on giving the impression that the horse could be better than eventual finishing position. Gets into handicap company from a reasonable mark today and would be no surprise to see it go on and win if ridden a little more prominently.
