See Saw Football Betting Strategy

Recommended Posts

This one comes from the Geoff Harvey book Successful Match Betting. The system works on the following premise: 1a. The odds on a team who have lost three in a row will increase to above that of 'normal' 1x2 prices on the basis that the team is in poor form. 1b. In reality a team who loses three games in a row is a 'wounded animal' and statistically returns to 'normal' HDA probabilities in their next game. 2a. The odds on a team outside the top three in a division who have won three games in a row will drop below 'normal' 1X2 prices on the basis that the team is in good form. 2b. Any team outside the top three in a division who wins three games in a row become complacent, and statistically return to normal 1X2 probabilities in their next game. Therefore the strategy is to back any team who has lost three games in a row, and lay any team (outside the top three in a division) who have won three in a row. In the book this system is proven to level stakes in England. I will paper trial it for a while here and include the top european divisions but track these separately UPDATE: EUROPEAN GAMES NOT USED. I will use betfair prices.
