Racing Post ~ in the newspaper format

I bought the RP today for something to read whilst having a pint, hadn't bought it for months, if not a year or so. The news, features and opinion pieces were really enjoyable, but was shocked when I read the form pages. I had perhaps forgotten how much I relied on the websites for seeing the entire horses results for previous races, and using patternform to assess easily, the entrants results at a certain trip or at a certain going. I know the newspaper does cover these starts with a single figure but it's no where near as in depth. I used to always buy it/use it and would often lay out over my laptop!!! Does anyone else use the newspaper format? I know when you go to the track its a handy reference tool but as for actual bet selection, has it had its day?

Re: Racing Post ~ in the newspaper format I was going to buy it today as I saw they had a Sea The stars special, thought it might have been a good read....? As newspapers go, I really like the 'Weekender' and the 'RAF', buy both of those most weeks.
