Day out at Stratford racecourse

Not sure if this is in the right forum, so mods feel free to move it if needs be. Now then, im taking the missus away for the weekend in a few weeks time and ive managed to wrangle it so that we can visit Stratford for the meeting on the 24th. We're staying 2miles north of Lemington spa. Really im just after some advice. Whats the best way to get to the racecourse from Lemington spa? Is there a bus? Can you recommend anywhere nearby to get some grub in the evening? Or would you recommend heading back to Lemington? Also, admission, which would you recommend? The mediocre package at £14 each, or pay the extra £4 each for the club stands? Any help appreciated.
