Sydney/Collingwood/Brisbane/Fremantle -5.5 @ 4.13 Freo are the certainty of the week. The reason they don't win on the road all that often is they have trouble scoring....Freo...meet the Bulldogs! Dogs have won one game at the Dome in 15 tries....allowing an av of 124 ppg in their last 20...and 139 in their last 5!! ...in fact they have allowed 144+ in 6 of their last 11 games there!! Now with Harris out (possibly our ONLY accountable defender!!) things will get nasty. Freo kicked 155 points and won by 83 in Rd. 7 last season...God, hopefully it won't be that painful, but no reason why it won't be! Brisbane and Collingwood are far superior to their opposition. Carlton have been hit hard by injuries and suspension with their 2 best forwards out for this game. Sydney playing well, and it is only the threat of some ordinary weather that puits me off taking them to cover the -17.5 handicap. Can't see them losing.

Re: AFL Rd. 14 Hi Taza, have you seen anything of young Setanta ó Hailpín? He is the former Cork hurler and underage Gaelic football player who joined Carlton last autumn/winter. Supposedly he was going to spend a year in the rookies (or whatever it is in the AFL) but made such an impression that he was in the full squad a few times. We get an AFL highlights programme once a week here in Ireland, and I saw Carlton take an unmerciful hammering there a couple of months back by about treble scores against someone but there was no sign of him playing then.
