He'll understandably start favourite today. However, I have my doubts. He is now 6 years old, and has never won two successive races in his career. To make achieving this more difficult, he has a 6lbs penalty for that last win. Furthermore, that victory was on softish going, and although he has won in the past on going like today's it would appear that he does definitely prefer to have some give underfoot to produce his very best. Without it, I think he's worth opposing today.
