NRL Round 25

Recommended Posts

Parramatta 1-12 @ 3.10 sportingbet Parra look to have the edge in this vital match. Massive momentum, home ground advantage and Penrith are just not the same since Civonicieva got ruled out for the season. Smashed by Brisbane two weeks back and last weeks romp against a very much under strength Souths will not have toughened them up for this one. However, with so much at stake you'd hope the Panthers have enough in them to keep the margin under 13, they can score a try so looks a good bet.

NRL: Round 25 Parramatta -19.5 (pick your own line) @ 3.90 (centrebet) Can't fault the form of Parramatta in recent weeks and they have run up some big scores in recent weeks. Last week they beat Wests who were also in great form and even though the Panthers beat Souths 40-10 last week, they have been conceding quite a few points. Parra should be able to shred this defence and score some points on them. Penrith strengths are in their forwards and Parra's forwards have played as well as if not even better than them while Parra's backs are significantly better than what Penrith have with the exception of Jennings but expect him to be closely marked. Hayne to bring the rain and give the Panthers plenty of pain Brisbane -19.5 (pick your own line) @ 4.10 (centrebet) The Broncos are back and look to confirm their spot in the top 8. They beat the Dragons 12-2 last week to suggest they will be a force in the semi finals and with the return to form of their major players, then they should continue their momentum against the Cowboys. Lockyer has been instrumental in getting them back into this mood and with 11 wins in their 14 games in Townsville, the Broncos certainly like this ground. This is the last chance for the Cowboys but they are facing a rival who has rediscovered their form and should run over the top of them.

Re: NRL Round 25 Wests -5.5 (pick your own line) @ 4.50 (centrebet) Last chance for th Tigers to get a semi final spot while the Titans have clinched a top 4 spot and may take it easy here. The Tigers played pretty well against the Eels and are a team in form, especially with Farah and Marshall attacking the lines. They did beat the Titans last year and have won the last two against them, so they look good value to make it three in a row. Souths +6.5 (pick your own line) @ 4.00 (centrebet) Souths it would seem have nothing to play for as they are out fo the running for the semi finals however the Dragons have lost their last two games and what should be a stroll in the park several weeks ago, may not be the case now. There is a rivalry between the two sides and they kick off the season with the Charity / Community Shield so don't expect the Rabbitohs to simply roll over here. They will throw the ball around with no pressure on them while the Dragons need to get the lethargy out of their game with the semi finals approaching. Like the look of a close game as the Dragons should win this easily but not in the current form they are in Roosters +10.5 (pick your own line) @ 4.65 (centrebet) The Storm have plenty to play for as they seek to stay in the top 4 spot while the Roosters sare trying to get off the bottom. The Storm should win however there is enough talent in the Roosters side to make a game of this especially as the Storm have not been in the best of form lately. The Roosters may not win their last two game to get off the bottom but iof they can reduce the 44 point margin between themselves and Cronulla (who play a fired up Manly side tomorrow) then they can jump a spot. Like the situation of the Roosters having a big game here with no expectatin of them doing well, and while they may not win, don't expect this to be a blowout either

Re: NRL Round 25 great shot there bc with Parra Wests Tigers to score over 17 points @ 1.90 centrebet Wests are one of the best attacking teams in the comp and this is do or die for their finals chances. They have not scored less than 17 points in their last 7 matches as well as beating Gold Coast at the last 2 meetings. Gold Coast have been flat of late with their backs looking very pedestrian. The backline has a lot of inexperience and now they have selected a second rower in Tagatese at centre to cover their injuries. I cannot imagine that the Tigers won't give this match a red hot go even if they lose, just hope Marshall can kick a few goals.

Parramatta 1-12 @ 3.10 sportingbet :@ Wests Tigers to score over 17 points @ 1.90 centrebet :)
1-1 so far this weekend, lets finish off with a winner on monday night Newcastle @ 1.95 vs Canberra centrebet Canberra have no incentive to win this game, sure they are a different team at home but they have had 2 good wins the last 2 at home so they won't be feeling they owe their fans something. It's all about attitude with this team and in their last game over in New Zealand they were atrocious. Playmaker Campese really needs a kick up the arse as he is underachieving bigtime. If Newcastle lose this, their final round match against Penrith will be a winner take all semi final berth whereas a win here seals the spot for them. I can't see this being lost on them with the new coach having them on song so far.
