J C Rouget needs no introduction and has the likely hotpot here in Ephemere who finished second on debut at Deauville over 6f on soft ground and will be in better stead now getting good ground this afternoon and is the one to beat here now stepping up in trip. But 2 year old races in france are very unpredictable and i would not be surprised to see Bertrand Balanda'a new comer run a sound race ROYAL ROCKY., but this looks his second string and the one that really interests me is Christophe Soumillon's mount on the trainers other new comer FLYING WARRIOR By Ransom O 'War who was a Grp 2 winner in Germany and was once trained by Michael Johnston and had a flat rating of 87.
