Single Win Snowball System

Hi folks! I have loved this site for ages, mostly for opening my eyes to the previous errors of my punting ways. I hope you all appreciate my 1st attempt at hosting a thread. I hope you like it. Be Gentle if you don't. LOL My system (I cant vouch for its originality) is based on the premise that if you reduce the variables that your money is riding on you increase your chances of making a profit. Most of you who bet on football especially double and treble accums know all too well the heart break of a last minute goal in the 3rd game of your treble busting your weekend. (Hull's 2nd half reversal of Arsenal last season nearly had me in tears.). While I can't rule out losses I hope my strategy will minimise them. Anyway to cut to the chase the system hopefully combines a strategy that represents a sound betting process with good bankroll management. However, I am grateful to hear if any of you have ever tried anything similar and what success rate you had with it. Starting with a bankroll of £200 (I'm not loaded yet!!!) I intend to bet on single football matches only. No accums!!!! I will stake a cumulative 20% of my total bankroll on each football match selection. As the profits hopefully increase so do the bets sizes. My criteria for bet selection is an overall return on each bet averaging 50%. Therefore my 1st bet should be £40 @ 1.50 to return £60. In order to maintain my average multiplier of 1.50, I will take odds in the range 1.33 to 1.70. I hope to achieve this by finding these values in home teams in form against away teams performing poorly on the road. Hopefully, the PL will offer up plently of options is this regard. I have ran the numbers up to 100 bets and the system has a break even point at a strike rate of approx 67%. Therefore, my aim is to hit a strike rate of 80% to give me a tidy return for the season. (Interested to hear your thoughts on achieving this rate?) In monetary terms an 80% strike rate starting with a Bank of £200 and maintaining average odds of 1.50 would return a profit of £4,630 after 100 games. In order to maximise my chance of success the bets will be limited to 2-3 a week so as to utilise the top teams in the game as much as possible. No bets this week until I get some feedback and have a better handle on current team form. Looking forward to your thoughts. :cheers

Re: Single Win Snowball System Best of luck Wise Guy As far as your strategy goes, you will do very, very well to have an 80% strike rate with average odds of 1.5 in the long term (I would call 100 games fairly long term). Unless you can consistantly pick teams with value that shouldn't be priced as highly as they are then I am sceptical about your chances I would love to be wrong though and I hope in 100 bets times you have reached your goal :ok
