Patch Patch's form hasn't worked out too well from his two starts but his performances have been impressive, he came 2nd over this course and distance on debut and won last time out convincingly. The ground will favour him and he's still open to improvement off a fair opening handicap mark. There are negatives about every other horse in the race so I take Michael Dods' gelding to go on to win this.
