NRL: Round 22

Recommended Posts

St George win by 1-12 margin @ 3.10 (sportingbet) Top placed Dragons travel to Penrith which should be a tight game to be played under cold and windy conditions. The Dragons forwards are roling along and with Soward organising the plays they have been the best team so far. Penrith have a good solid team and will be very competitive and with a concern that Soward is under an injury clud, he may not be as effective. This will bring Penrith more into the game as they will target him to reduce his influence. With both teams with 5 wins each at Penrith then expect a close game but the Dragons have a team that is travelling that much better and they should edge this Melbourne win by 1-12 margin @ 3.10 (sportingbet) The Storm come back home after being outplayed by the Dragons while the Cowboys lifted to beat the Titans in an upset. Now look for the Storm to bounce back at home where they need a win to keep them in the top 4. While the forwards macth up pretty evenly, the Storm have the dge in the backs as they have quite a bit of speed in their ranks to zip past the Cowboys. With the Storm having won all 6 games at Olympic Park then look for them to repeat this but they face a Cowboys side that will give them a game as they played quite well against the Titans and will use this momentum to make a contest of this game

Re: NRL: Round 22 Bulldogs win by 1-12 margin @ 3.05 (sportingbet) Raiders are coming off a huge thumping of a poor Brisbane side while the Dogs dug deep to beat the Rabbitohs. The Bulldogs on paper should win this well but the Raiders have not given up yet of making the semi's and their underated side have been playing well should give them a good game, as both sets of gorwards will slug it out but it is hard to fault the way the Bulldogs have played all year and they should have enough with Kimmorley running the show for them to edge this

Re: NRL: Round 22 Warriors 1-12 @ 3.85 Sportingbet AU Titans have dropped off in form a little in recent weeks, with losses to the Cowboys and Bulldogs. Warriors should be stronger at home and are coming off a couple of good results away from home. Either way I expect the game to be relatively close and given the odds for this play this is value not to be ignored.

Re: NRL: Round 22 Roosters 1-12 @ 4.50 Sportingbet AU Tigers have won 4 games in a row, including a 1 point win last week. Given that the Tigers are only an average team, I believe their intensity levels are mental focus will be substantially lower. Long winning streaks are rare because it's hard to get up for every game each week. Furthermore, 1pt wins require a very concentrated mental effort, the kind of which heavily reduces intensity levels. I believe this effect will be on show today. That said, Roosters aren't a huge attacking team, so I think taking the smaller margin option offers the best value.

Re: NRL: Round 22 Wests Tigers to beat Sydney Roosters 1.42 centrebet Sydney are a woeful team this season and have not won two matches in a row all year. Last week they were up against a flagging Knights team... and also playing in front of next seasons coach. That's always a recipe for improvement and they did put up their best showing. This week Minichiello named at 5/8? please Freddy these crazy positional switches always backfire Wests have really improved their defence in the second half of the season and we all know how they can attack well. Sunday afternoon dry track game that Wests will relish. Put your house on this one!

Re: NRL: Round 22 Brisbane win by 1-12 margin @ 3.10 (pinnacle) Brisbane has Wallace back with Kenny and Thaiday coming back too. They will look to get some of their respect back with an improved effort while Cronulla are poor but look to an improved effort with Gallen back but the Broncos shold have enough to win this. Brisbane has won 5 of the past 8 clashes as well as 8 of the past 9 meetings at Suncorp Stadium.

Re: NRL: Round 22 Tonght's game is a tough game to predict with both teams failing to score in their last games and the Broncos having an embarrissing 56-0 thumping. Broncos have a nine day break to stew over bad loss and also have Wallace back from injury. The sharkies have had a terrible run with injuries and they always give a 100% effort in defence they just find it very hard to score points without their playmakers. I am going to go with Broncos -14.5 and under 44.5 @ $4.00 with NSW TAB.

:nanaJust snuck in with Broncos winning 30-10, looked as if Broncos were going to run in a big score, but as usual Sharkies defence never gave up and even scored a try in the 79th minute.:drums
