kevshat
A 5 match ODI series is currently going on in Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka lead the series 2-0 going into the 3rd ODI tomorrow morning, 5.30am UK time. I've not had many bets in this tour for Pakistan but I have followed it fairly closely and am going to bet in the 3rd ODI. I'm going with 4. 3pts Sri Lanka to win 3rd ODI 4/6 Stan James Sri Lanka have completely dominated Pakistan in both the test series and the ODI series thus far. Pakistan's batting has been, to be fair, awful. They collapsed twice in the test series and haven't made 200 in either of the 1st 2 ODI's. The 3rd one takes place at the same ground as the 1st two and what's more worrying for Pakistan fans is that Sri Lanka haven't bothered with Ajantha Mendis so far in the series. Pakistan themselves have Imran Nazir and Rana Naved on the sidelines raring to go and you would think Nazir would get the nod here but even if Pakistan do turn up with the bat, Sri Lanka have the batting potential and quality to go with Pakistan. Home advantage is key and the Sri Lankan's are on a roll at the minute as they build towards the 2011 world cup and I think they'll sew the series up here. 3pts M.Muralitharan's Performance Pts - 40&Over 8/11 Bet365 Points are scored as follows: 1pt per run, 10pts per catch & 20pts per wicket. Murali is bowling really well in this series and with this being the 3rd game at this ground in a matter of days the wickets should be turning nicely now. He had the test series off but in the 2 ODI's so far he's made up totals of 82 and 40 and I think he'll cover 40 again here. Not only is he taking 2 wickets a match at the minute but he scored 32 runs in no time in the 1st ODI and usually fields close to the bat these days so catches aren't alien to him. I'm confident he'll get the 2 wickets we need though so I'll go 40 or over in this one for Murali. 1pt Most 6's - Tie 5/1 Stan James There hasn't been many 6's hit in this series so far and with the slow nature of the wickets in Sri Lanka as a whole but especially here in Dambulla, I don't expect too many in this match. The 1st ODI was tied at 1-1 and the 2nd ODI was a 1-0 win for Sri Lanka and that 6 came from the only batsman to get in, in either innings. It's a tough place for batsmen to get in here, as shown by the fact there's only been one half century in the series so far and with the scores being low and the big hits very infrequent I'll go for the 6's match to be tied at a big price considering the way the series has gone so far. 1pt ew F.Alam Top Pakistan Batsman 9/1 Coral (1/5 1,2,3) Fawad Alam is probably unknown to most people but he's actually a batsman who has been way down the order for Pakistan, certainly in the twenty20 world cup. However in the test series here he opened at times and was very successful, hitting a superb 168 in the 2nd test match. He was close to top scoring in the 1st ODI here when Umar Gul mugged him on the line. He batted down the order that day but with Pakistan's batting struggling bigtime I expect to see him in the middle order in this match. He can play spin well and at 9/1 I think he's good value for an ew punt.
kevshat
Re: Cricket: Sri Lanka vs Pakistan ODI Series Sri Lanka won and Murali picked up 2 wickets so that bet won as well. The two longer priced bets lost though but I still picked up a small profit of 1.18pts.
