LAWN BOWLS BETTING Australia

Recommended Posts

This coming weekend in Australia the NSW State No1 Pennants Lawn Bowls will be played between 16 Clubs from all over NSW and a betting agency are betting on the outcome. The site is www.bowlsbet.com.au The 16 clubs which have 12 players in each team (3 x rinks of four) have played off for the last four months to win their Zone Pennant and proceed to the finals. The 16 Clubs are split into 4 sections of four teams each, and play each team once and the team who wins their section goes through to semi-final and then final. www.bowlsbet.com.au are betting on section winners and outright winner. The first three favs are all Sydney based teams with Cabramatta @ $2.50 then Engadine @ $3.50 and Merrylands @ $4.00. Two country teams are next in the betting but are in the same section with local side Warilla @ $5.00 then Halekalani @ $6.00. Section 1 The local team Warilla who are playing on their home greens will be very hard to beat, they have imported one of the best players in the world from Ireland, Jeremy Henry and their biggest challenge will come from Halekalani who have Aussie rep Arron Sherriff, other two teams in section are Kensington and Gulgong. Section 2 The section winner should come from Engadine who have State skip Shane Garvey or Park Beach with the other two clubs being South Tamworth and Batemans Bay. Section 3 This looks to be the weakest of the four sections with Marrylands, Tuncurry, Parkes and Riverina AFC. Can only see the winner coming from first two teams. Section 4 This is a very good section with all four teams Cabramatta, Swansea, Ballina and Belrose all coming from very good Zones but can't go past Cabramatta. Winner Although Cabramatta are in a very competitive section they deserve their favourate tag, their team is the strongest on paper with expierianced internationals South Africa's Neil Burkett, Canadian young gun Ryan Bester, NZ Rowan Brassey and Peter Belliss and they had to beat one of the strongest clubs in Australia St Johns Park to win their Zone. Provided they win their section they should get through to final and should play either Engadine, Park Beach, Warilla or Halekalani in final.;)

Final thoughts for this weekend, will stick my neck out and pick section winners for semi-finals. Halekalani Park Beach Tuncurry Cabramatta Could be Halekalani Vs Cabramatta final and with the overall class of Cabramatta as winners.
